Become a Vendor

Registration for the 2026 Trenton Book Fair is now open.

The Trenton Book Fair welcomes authors, illustrators, new and used booksellers, writers’ groups, writing programs, publishers, and exhibitors of book-related merchandise. We may also accept artists, makers and other vendors.

The 2026 Book Fair theme is the Year of the Black Writer, though all writers are encouraged to apply.

WHEN: Saturday, October 10, 2026, West Lafayette Street, downtown Trenton, New Jersey.
10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Rain or shine.

Exhibit spots will be assigned by order of arrival, first come-first-placed.

They will be on Lafayette Street and later submittals will be along the sidewalk on Warren Street.

In the event of inclement weather, the festival will take place in several local venues—including Classics Bookshop and Much Better Studios.

Exhibitor Fees

For-Profit Authors/Exhibitors: $50.00

Registration fees are non-refundable.

Registration Deadline

August 30, 2026 or when we have reached max capacity. No registrations will be accepted after this date.
Notification of your acceptance, location, and arrival/set-up instructions will be sent to you via email on or before September 18, 2026.

How to Apply to be an Exhibitor

Complete the application in full.

Submit payment by check, credit card, or PayPal.

Checks are to be delivered to Classics Bookshop in downtown Trenton with Book Fair written in the subject line.

Credit cards can be taken at Classics Bookshop or over the phone at 609-802-7364.

Each vendor is also required to provide something for the early bird goodie bags. You can provide 50 to 300 of any of the following:

  • bookmarks
  • magnets
  • stickers
  • discount coupons for your book if purchased at your table
  • Copies of your book (only need to donate one)

If you have other ideas of what you could provide, contact us. Items are to be provided to Classics Used Books by October 3, to give us time to prepare the goodie bags

The Trenton Book Fair reserves the right to select or refuse an exhibitor.

Display Space
Booths will measure 10’ x 10’.


You are responsible for providing your own tent, table(s), chairs, backdrops, signage, weights, commerce transaction devices, etc. Tents or canopies with weights are recommended—it can be a windy street. Spots are assigned by the Trenton Book Fair.

Vendors are liable for their setup, materials, and any damages caused during the event. It is the obligation of exhibitors to comply with all rules, regulations and laws in the City of Trenton.
The Fair can provide a limited number of tents for a rental fee.

Arrival & Set-up/Break down
Exhibitors MUST arrive between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m and be set up by 10:00 am. Lafayette Street will be closed to automobile traffic.

Tear-down before 4 pm is prohibited. Booths must be completely removed by 6:00 p.m.

Weather Policy
The Trenton Book Fair is rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, the call to relocate to interior spaces will be made the day prior. In this case, placement of booths will be made on first come-first assigned basis.

Previously assigned booth numbers will not apply. Booth space may be decreased if necessary.

Additional Guidelines

  • Exhibitors are responsible for their own sales transactions, cash/change/card reader, Internet connection, business practices.
  • Food and water is available for purchase at the businesses on Warren Street.
  • Exhibitors will be listed on the website and in any materials available at the festival.
  • Vendors must maintain a clean and professional booth.
  • Be kind and courteous to other vendors, attendees, and volunteers.
  • Disputes should be brought to the attention of a Book Fair volunteer for quick resolution.
  • Failure to comply with these rules may result in removal from the event and disqualification from future shows.
